Russia values relations with Cuba and intends to continue providing assistance with fuel, but the country's support is not related to the negotiation track on Ukraine. This was announced on February 18 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"We don't think these are any interconnected areas. <...> We value our relations with Cuba very much and plan to develop them further," he said at a briefing.
