Sobyanin spoke about the development of transport production in Moscow
There are 760 enterprises in Moscow engaged in the production of electronics, components and road infrastructure in the field of transport engineering. This was stated by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
He noted the growth of production by enterprises in this area. Thus, in 2025, the volume of production of electric motor parts increased 2.3 times, auto components — 2 times, and safety equipment on highways and railways — by 4%.
In his channel at the MAX, the mayor also named the leading manufacturers of the industry. Among them are the Nanotechnology Center for Composites, DiagnosticaM, Bely Svet 2000, Informtekhtrans, AIR Magistral, Greencom and Antey.
Earlier in February, at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the mayor of Moscow said that the creation of a modern infrastructure to accommodate high-tech industries allows the capital to increase production in areas such as microelectronics, unmanned aircraft systems and energy technologies.
Sobyanin also spoke about plans to increase industrial space in the city. "In 2010, we had about 10 million square meters. m of industrial areas, in principle, many of them are not the best. Today, there are already 13 million, and these are not bad areas. And we expect to practically double the volume of industrial space in the coming years — by 2032," the mayor said.
In 2025, 850 thousand square meters of new production buildings were commissioned in Moscow. Among the most important facilities are the V.V. Tereshkova National Space Center, the Moscow Photonics Center, the Speed Machine—building Plant and the Moscow Shipyard.
