The winner of the 2026 Olympic Games among women in figure skating was American Alice Liu, who received 226.79 points, Japanese figure skater Kaori Sakamoto won the silver medal with 224.90 points, and her compatriot Ami Nakai won the bronze medal with 219.16 points.

In the short program on February 17, Petrosyan took fifth place, scoring 72.89 points. According to the results of the rental, the Russian gained a foothold in the group of leaders of the tournament, competing with such figure skaters as Anastasia Gubanova, Alice Liu and Kaori Sakamoto.
