Zelensky warned against accepting the imposed peace with Russia
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that he had warned US representatives against attempts to impose a peace agreement with Russia on Kiev, which would not be accepted by Ukrainian society. This was announced on February 17 by the Axios portal.
According to Zelensky, he discussed this issue with the special envoy of the President of the United States, Stephen Witkoff, and the son-in-law of the American leader, Jared Kushner.
"Zelensky advised Witkoff and Kushner not to try to force him to promote a vision of peace (with Russia. — Ed.), which his own people will perceive as an "unfortunate story,— writes the Axios publication.
