The State Duma appreciated Zelensky's insulting statements about Russians abroad
Alexei Chepa, first deputy chairman of the State Duma's International Affairs Committee, said that Russia intends to respond harshly to insulting statements by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky addressed to the country's citizens and will not allow discrimination against Russians abroad.
In conversation with aif.ru On Tuesday, February 17, he noted that rudeness deserves condemnation and such statements cannot be ignored, however, in his opinion, it is not profitable for the West. He also recalled that previously the regions bordering Russia actively sold land to Russians who built dachas there, and, for example, Finland received significant benefits from this.
"Attempts at discrimination should not be shown, we should not allow such topics to even be discussed in Europe. We must protect all our citizens, including those outside our country," Chepa stressed.
He noted that such statements remain unanswered by Western politicians, which, in his opinion, gave Zelensky a sense of permissiveness. Chepa added that this feeling is fueled by the position of Western leaders, who allow him to make harsh statements and offensive attacks against individual countries and their leaders. According to him, all this remains without consequences, which can form a megalomania in Zelensky, like many artists.
Earlier on February 17, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, called Zelensky's words about the expulsion of Russians from Western countries immoral and without political significance. Konstantinov added that the political culture in the West has finally degraded if Zelensky can afford to use a mat on live TV, the website clarifies. kp.ru . According to him, the head of the Kiev regime will continue to behave like this and destroy the standards of relations between the countries, notes 360.ru . The parliamentarian called Zelensky a showman who lives in scandals and he likes it, writes NSN.
On February 15, in an interview with Politico, he demanded in an abusive manner that the authorities of Western countries impose sanctions against a number of Russian citizens and expel them along with their children, RT reminds.
