In August, a temporary ban on amateur fishing in Pacific salmon spawning grounds was introduced in Primorsky Krai. The restrictions did not apply to all bodies of water, but only to those rivers that flow into the Sea of Japan. The ban did not affect the basin of the Ussuri River, including its tributaries, as well as marine areas where recreational fishing is allowed.
