Flight restrictions have been lifted at a number of Russian airports

Temporary restrictions on the reception and boarding of flights have been lifted at the airports of Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Sochi, Nizhnekamsk and Izhevsk. This was announced by the Federal Air Transport Agency on February 17.

"Airports Gelendzhik, Izhevsk, Krasnodar (Pashkovsky), Nizhnekamsk (Begishevo), Sochi. Restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been lifted," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that measures were taken to ensure flight safety, during their operation two flights to Sochi were redirected to an alternate airfield.

Temporary restrictions in the Izhevsk and Nizhnekamsk air ports were introduced earlier in the day. Restrictions in Sochi, Krasnodar and Gelendzhik were introduced the day before, on February 16.
