A resident of Krasnoyarsk committed 26 thefts from entrances

In Krasnoyarsk, a man will go on trial for a series of burglaries. He committed 26 criminal episodes from May to September 2025, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Monday, February 16.

The attacker, born in 1992, stole 10 bicycles, 3 electric scooters and a total of 1.7 km of cable. Investigators also established his involvement in the theft of 56,000 rubles worth of property from a pawnshop and 67,000 rubles worth of power tools from a construction site.

The total damage from the stolen goods amounted to about 1.8 million rubles, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. Some of the items were seized and returned to the owners.

The criminal was detained by the staff of the criminal investigation department. A criminal case was opened against the suspect under Part 2 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Theft". The investigation has been completed, and the defendant has been taken into custody.
