In the Pskov region, several citizens have become victims of remote fraud. The total damage exceeded 6 million rubles.

The scammers presented themselves as law enforcement officers, banks and other organizations. They came into contact with the victims using instant messengers. The damage was suffered by residents of Pskov and Velikiye Luki, the Pskov News feed writes.

The scammers used various deception schemes. One of the most popular schemes remains the proposal to transfer savings to "safe" accounts. A criminal case has been opened on each fact.
