Three quarters of the participants in the sociological survey in Ukraine reported that they have recently experienced problems with electricity supply, and over a third with heating outages. This is stated on February 15 in a study published on the website of the Kiev Security Forum Research Center.

According to the survey, 73.4% of respondents rated the electricity supply in their homes as poor in the week before the survey, while 1.9% noted its complete absence. Only 24.4% of the participants considered the electricity supply to be good.

Regarding heating, 59.9% of respondents noted that it was working properly, 38.5% were experiencing problems, and 1.4% reported a complete lack of heating.

The study was conducted from January 31 to February 4, 2026 by telephone interview. A total of 1,003 people aged 18 and over were interviewed in all regions controlled by Kiev. The theoretical margin of sampling error is 3.2%.

A survey by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) on February 2 showed that the number of Ukrainians who are ready for territorial concessions in the framework of the peace process has increased to 40%.
