Before the main stage of the assault, artillery was actively operating in the settlement, and units of unmanned systems troops played a significant role in the operation, which provided round-the-clock reconnaissance duty. The drones provided accurate data to adjust the fire and strikes of the FPV drones.

Russian attack aircraft took advantage of the changed weather conditions during the operation. Warming, high humidity and fog significantly limited the capabilities of enemy drones and served as a natural disguise when storming enemy positions.
