Bogomaz announced a massive attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Bryansk region on February 15.

On February 15, the Bryansk region was subjected to the most powerful and massive attack using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on February 16 by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.

"Yesterday, the Bryansk region experienced the most powerful and massive attack. There was no launch of such a large number of UAVs simultaneously per day in any region of Russia," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, energy infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the attacks.

The Governor also noted that thanks to the prompt and professional actions of power engineers and specialists of the thermal power complex, as well as the connection of backup generation sources purchased with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, heat and electricity supply in Bryansk and five municipalities was restored within three hours.

Bogomaz also thanked all the emergency and utility services for their well-coordinated work and stressed that they had done everything necessary to provide heat and electricity to the residents of the region.

Bogomaz said on February 15 that air defense systems had hit 120 Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Bryansk region in half a day. According to him, the mobile firing groups of the BARS-Bryansk brigade and representatives of the regional special forces of the Russian Guard were also involved in the operation to eliminate drones.
