Yekaterinburg hockey club (HC) Avtomobilist defeated Magnitogorsk Metallurg in the regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The match took place on February 15 in Yekaterinburg and ended with a score of 8:1.

Semyon Kizimov (2nd minute), Daniel Sprong (14th, 23rd and 39th), Yaroslav Busygin (22nd), Maxim Denezhkin (45th), Artyom Kashtanov (58th) and Daniil Romantsev (60th) scored goals for the winners. The only goal for Metallurg was scored by Egor Yakovlev (32).

Avtomobilist ranks fourth in the Eastern Conference with 66 points, while Metallurg tops the table with 87 points.
