- The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has proposed to count a day of service in its service area for three days of work.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has proposed to count one day of service in the special military operation zone (SVO) for three days of work experience or civil service. The corresponding draft document has been published on the Federal Portal of Draft Regulatory Legal Acts.
It is clarified that the agency proposes to amend paragraph 3 of Article 10 of the law "On the status of military personnel."
"The period of military personnel's participation in a special military operation is counted in the length of public service of a civil servant, in the length of professional service and in the total length of service at the rate of one day of military service for three days of work," the draft document says.
In addition, the draft provides for an amendment to Part 10 of Article 13 of the Federal Law "On Insurance Pensions". Currently, the periods of participation in the SVO during military service are counted in the insurance length of service in double the amount. The Ministry of Defense proposes to replace the words "in double size" with "in triple size".
On February 10, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to create unified recommendations for employers on employment support and professional development of veterans of the military. The recommendation should include items on employment support, work adaptation, social support and professional development of combat veterans.
