Severe skin infections can be contracted by trying on clothes in stores or by ordering on marketplaces. Vera Seryozhina, an expert microbiologist at the LabQuest medical company, warned about this on Friday, February 13.

According to the expert, some pathogens are transmitted by contact, including through tissue.

"First of all, we are talking about scabies, a disease caused by scabies mites. In addition, fungal and bacterial infections of the skin can be transmitted during fitting. The doctor warned that many pathogens can cause purulent-inflammatory diseases of the skin and soft tissues, and in severe cases, systemic complications.

"In offline stores, clothes are most often steamed or ironed after fitting, whereas such measures are not applied during delivery," Seryozhina said.

In addition, the expert recommended not to try on clothes on a naked body, especially if the package has already been opened, but to wash and iron a new thing before the first sock.

Irina Volgina, associate Professor of the Department of Therapy at the Medical Faculty of the State University of Education, said on February 12 that dry skin can be caused by improper care, climatic conditions, vitamin deficiency, dehydration, malnutrition and certain diseases, according to the website. kp.ru .
