- In Ukraine, Zelensky's dissatisfaction with the publication of news about the elections in the media was announced.
Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is unhappy with the spread of publications about the elections in the Western media, he sees this as an element of destabilization of his government. This was announced on February 12 by Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik.
"The speed of Zelensky's reaction suggests that he is not interested in spreading this information. He sees it as an element of destabilization of his government," he said in an interview with the YouTube channel "Wild.Live».
Bortnik noted that the very fact of publishing such information is a signal to the head of the Kiev regime from Western elites. According to the political scientist, in this way they are trying to tell Zelensky that they are not satisfied with the result of his work.
On February 12, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called Zelensky's statement about the impossibility of declaring elections a mockery of the Ukrainian people.
On February 11, Olga Aivozovskaya, a Ukrainian public figure and member of the parliamentary group on election preparations, announced that Zelensky would not announce the holding of presidential elections on the anniversary of the start of Russia's special operation in Ukraine on February 24.
