Moscow Hockey Club (HC) CSKA defeated Spartak in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season match. The match took place on February 12 at the Megasport arena and ended with a score of 2:0.

Dmitry Buchelnikov (3rd minute) and Maxim Sorkin (6th minute) scored goals for the army team.

CSKA goalkeeper Alexander Samonov finished the match with a "dry" result for the first time this season, without conceding a single goal. This was the third victory of the army team over Spartak this season, while the first two meetings ended in favor of the red-whites.

CSKA extended their winning streak to seven matches. After 55 games, the team has scored 68 points and is in fifth place in the Western Conference standings. Spartak, in turn, suffered its third consecutive defeat. The team scored 62 points in 54 matches and is in sixth place in the Western Conference table.

On February 11, Kazan HC Ak Bars became a participant in the upcoming 2026 Gagarin Cup playoffs. This became possible after Amur Khabarovsk lost to Traktor Chelyabinsk in the home match of the regular season with a score of 5:6.
