The guard who died as a result of the shooting at the Anapa College will be buried on Saturday, February 14. This was announced on February 12 by his wife Tatiana Biryukova.

"Nikolai's funeral will be held at Anapa City Cemetery on Saturday, at 2 p.m.," she told TASS.

Biryukova also added that the funeral service for the deceased will take place at 13:00 Moscow time in the church at the entrance to the Anapa city cemetery.

Earlier that day, the administration of Anapa Industrial College organized a memorial in memory of the deceased guard. Anapa Mayor Svetlana Maslova also posted a post on her Telegram channel in memory of the deceased.

The shooting occurred on the morning of February 11 at Anapa College. Three people were reported injured. Later, information appeared about one dead person. The main directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory reported the arrest of the student who started the shooting.

The director of the educational institution, Evgenia Ponomareva, said that the clear actions of Nikolai's security guard, who died as a result of a shooting at a private Anapa industrial college, made it possible to avoid casualties among students and teachers.

A source told Izvestia that during the events, students who had barricaded themselves in classrooms said goodbye to their relatives in correspondence. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region opened a criminal case on the tragedy on the same day. Criminologists involved in the territory of the educational institution seized firearms, shell casings and cartridges from there.
