- Putin instructed The Federal Property Management Agency is actively helping the authorities of new regions
The Federal Property Management Agency has replenished the Russian budget by 1.5 trillion rubles in three years, including 638 billion rubles in 2025. This became known on February 12 at a meeting between Vladimir Putin and the head of the department, Vadim Yakovenko. The President instructed to provide maximum assistance to the authorities of the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions in matters related to property management.
What was discussed at the meeting
Last year, the Federal Property Management Agency transferred 638 billion rubles to the state budget, and a total of 1.5 trillion rubles from 2023 to 2025. Most of them are traditionally paid by oil and gas companies and banks. In addition, 116 billion rubles in state revenue came from privatization, lease and sale of land. 16 billion rubles of them are from rent. This indicator has been steadily growing for three years, Vadim Yakovenko noted.
In 2025, work on the delimitation of federal property in the LPR, DPR, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions was fully completed. As a result, 289,000 facilities — power grid assets, mines, railway and port infrastructure — remained in federal ownership, while 460,000 remained in regional ownership. Now the same work has to be done to differentiate between regional and municipal. "We need to help them take ownership of their property as much as possible," Vladimir Putin said.
Active work is also underway with other regions: berths have been transferred to the ownership of the Murmansk Region for the construction of a cluster-type ship repair complex, where vessels operating on the Northern Sea Route can be serviced.
Another 3.5 thousand square meters were transferred to the ownership of the Vologda region for the construction of a children's and youth sports school. Tatarstan has transferred 49 hectares of land to Tatneft. A plant for the production of acid and bio-components for motor fuels will be built here. Khabarovsk Territory has received 266 hectares of land for the construction of a ski resort: up to 100 thousand vacationers can stay here during the season.
