The Verkhovna Rada was unable to hold a plenary session due to mass food poisoning of people's deputies. This was reported on January 12 by the Ukrainska Pravda newspaper.

"We are talking about dozens of infected deputies. Probably from 10 to 30 MPs," the article says.

Most of the victims have similar symptoms: fever, weakness, intestinal disorders and diarrhea. The symptoms are similar to those of rotavirus, which has been reported in recent weeks in Bukovel, Kiev and other cities, the newspaper notes.

In addition, due to a sudden illness, the parliament was unable to meet on February 12.

Ukrainian MP Nina Yuzhanina reported on February 4 that rada deputies continue to discuss who exactly should sign a possible peace agreement with Russia from the Ukrainian side. According to her, this issue was raised during a recent panel discussion in Kiev with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga.
