Poultry meat production increased by 54% in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The Krasnoyarsk Territory has increased poultry meat production by 54% in five years. The total number of chickens exceeded 4.8 million.

According to Rosstat, poultry farms have increased poultry meat production from 28.1 thousand tons in 2021 to 43.4 thousand tons in 2025. Currently, there are five enterprises operating in the region, two of which specialize in meat production and three in egg production. This is reported by KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

The modernization of enterprises' capacities contributes to the growth of production. For example, JSC "Shushenskaya Poultry Farm" will launch a new slaughtering and production complex in the spring, and by 2028 the live weight capacity will reach 17.7 thousand tons per year.

In 2025, poultry enterprises received state support in the amount of more than 492 million rubles. The funds were used for livestock maintenance, purchase of breeding material, as well as poultry insurance.
