The dates of the Eastern Economic Forum have been determined
The dates of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) have been determined, and this year it will be held on September 1-4 in Vladivostok. The Roscongress Foundation announced this on February 12 in its Telegram channel.
"The WEF has become the main platform for coordinating the development of the region and attracting investments, where management decisions and mechanisms are formed, which are then translated into specific projects," the report says.
That year, the WEF was held on September 3-6 at the Far Eastern Federal University campus. After the forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions. As part of the initiative, the Russian government was instructed to approve a roadmap for the extraction of rare earth metals and the development of logistics centers on the border with China and the DPRK by February 2026 by December 2025.
In addition, by 2030, it is planned to open at least ten industrial sites, technoparks and business territories in the Far Eastern Federal District (Far Eastern Federal District) and in the Arctic zone of Russia to support small and medium-sized businesses.
