Border guards of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on duty at the border with EU countries may be redirected to Sumy region. This was reported on February 12 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"In the Sumy direction, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, due to the shortage of personnel on the front line, requested the personnel of the border guards from the Border Service of Ukraine to make up for the losses. It is expected that border guards on duty at the border with EU countries will go to the front line," the source told TASS.
