A peaceful demonstration against the introduction of labor reform led to clashes with police in the center of the Argentine capital. This was reported on February 11 by the newspaper La Nacion.
According to the newspaper, a clash took place near the congress building between representatives of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) and the police. The protesters began throwing sticks and stones at law enforcement officers who were hiding behind shields and fencing.
It is specified that a group of protesting men erected a wall, from behind which they threw Molotov cocktails at police officers. Then the demonstrators began to write slogans on the asphalt.
According to the newspaper, law enforcement agencies used water cannons, pepper sprays and tear gas to stabilize the situation.
