In the Kandalaksha district of the Murmansk region, as a result of a head-on collision of passenger cars, one person was killed and three injured. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate and the prosecutor's office.

The accident occurred on Wednesday, February 11, in the area of the 1131st km of the federal highway R-21 "Cola". According to the regional prosecutor's office, the driver of a Hyundai Santa Fe drove into oncoming traffic, where he collided head-on with a Lada Largus.

As a result of the accident, the 70-year-old driver of a domestic car died on the spot, writes the Bi-port news agency. The Hyundai driver and his two passengers, one of whom is 13 years old, were injured. It is known that the passengers were hospitalized.
