Traffic has been fully restored on the Datta –Kenada section of the Far Eastern Railway in the Khabarovsk Territory. Passenger trains are running according to the schedule.

This was reported to IA AmurMedia by the press service of the Far Eastern Railway.

On this site, on the evening of February 9, a coal freight train derailed. The dimension of the adjacent path was violated. There were no casualties, but the timetable of passenger trains Sovetskaya Gavan – Vladivostok and Vladivostok – Sovetskaya Gavan had to be changed.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Far Eastern Federal District informed that the reason for the derailment of the wagons was a drop in pressure in the brake line of the locomotive of the freight train, which caused the movement to stop abruptly and the ninth and tenth wagons to be uncoupled. After that, the cars derailed.

10 units of heavy machinery, recovery trains and about 330 people worked at the scene.

A criminal case has been opened into the incident under the article "Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of railway transport."

Earlier it was reported that 20 gondola cars with coal derailed in the Khabarovsk Territory on January 24. It was noted that a freight train with 71 gondola cars was moving towards the city of Nakhodka. No one was injured.
