About 2 thousand tons of garbage were removed from the Blagoveshchensk river during cleaning

The Burkhanovka riverbed is being cleared in Blagoveshchensk. At the moment, work is underway on a site in the area of the Astashinsky lakes, which is considered the most polluted. Its cleaning is scheduled to be completed by the end of February.

Over the past 1.5 weeks, as long as the clearing has been underway, specialists have processed 220 m of open riverbed and removed about 2 thousand tons of garbage to the landfill. An excavator, dump trucks and a wind grinder are used for this, writes IA PriamurMedia with reference to the press service of the city administration.

By the end of the year, experts plan to put in order nine more sections with a length of about 4 km.

At the end of January, it was reported that more than 40 violations had been found in the work of Blagoveshchensk management companies. This became clear during the weekly monitoring of the cleaning of the adjacent territories of apartment buildings. These are mainly delays in snow removal, poor-quality cleaning and placement in pedestrian areas.
