Russian short-track athletes Alyona Krylova and Ivan Posashkov expressed satisfaction with the living conditions at the Olympic Games in Milan. This was announced on February 11 by Andrey Maksimov, the head coach of the Russian national short track team.

According to him, athletes live by one person, and the food at the Olympics is rated as excellent. Maximov also stressed that the short-trackers are in a good mood.

"Everything is fine, the mood is great, they walk, communicate, no sideways glances or anything else were noticed," he told TASS.

On February 10, Krylova failed to qualify for the 500 m race at the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy. It was noted that she covered the distance in 1 minute and 6.9 seconds and as a result arrived at the finish line last of her group.
