The US narratives about the alleged threat to Greenland from Russia or China are advancing, as in the Soviet joke about transporting a parrot across the border in any way. This was announced on February 11 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Here (in the issue of promoting narratives about the alleged Russian threat to Greenland from the Russian Federation. — Ed.) they behave consistently. They need to get across the border in any way, as in that joke, even with a "carcass", even with a "scarecrow"," he said in an interview with the Empathy Manuchi Internet project.

Lavrov added that American official structures refute statements about the alleged presence of submarines of the Russian Federation and China near Greenland, but this does not prevent the promotion of the narrative about the threat to the island from Moscow and Beijing.
