- Residents of Moscow CJSC will send postcards and humanitarian aid to their home by February 23
Activists of the Western Administrative District (ZAO) of Moscow are collecting humanitarian aid for Defender of the Fatherland Day to be sent to the special military operation zone. The parcels will be supplemented with postcards made at master classes in Fili and Nikulino parks, the press service of the CJSC reported.
"This is not the first time we have made postcards to fighters with the guys, and we know that they decorate the walls of the dugouts with them, take messages into battle, and consider them amulets. Not only children are working on creating postcards by February 23, but their parents, grandparents, and grandparents are also involved," said Svetlana Solovyova, the organizer of the master classes and head of the Dorogomilovo Club Center.
Workshops on making postcards "Kind letters to your friends" will be held in Nikulino Park on February 15 and 21. In the Fili children's park, congratulations for the SVO fighters will be written during the "DIY gift to a hero" classes on February 15, 21 and 22.
The first batch of messages has already been taken to the front line by employees of the regional public organization "Society of the Disabled of the War in Afghanistan — Moscow House of the Soldier's Heart", operating in Solntsevo. The next batch of postcards will be delivered to military units by activists of the Kuntsevo branch of the Molodogvardeyets project "Golden Hands of an Angel".
By February 23, representatives of Molodogvardeyets will send another humanitarian cargo to the military from the residents of ZAO. The parcel contained letters of congratulations and gifts prepared by students, their parents, and teachers of school No. 1440 in Krylatskoye. In addition, the participants of the Molodogvardeets branch will send anti-thermal blankets, sweaters and wool socks made by volunteers, as well as fleece hats and snoods, balaclavas and self-heating insoles.
In addition, children's park Fili and Nikulino Park collect parcels for their fighters. Muscovites can bring warm clothes, thermocups, hygiene products and long-term storage products. Everything collected will be sent to the Northern Group of Troops.
