The Stavropol territory will repair the road between Zelenokumsky and Steppe

A section of the Zelenokumsk— Solomenskoye—Stepnoye regional road will be repaired in the Stavropol Territory. It is expected that this will be the largest project of the current 2026, the press service of the Regional Ministry of Finance reports on social networks.

The total length of the work will exceed 11 km. Specialists will update the roadbed and asphalt pavement, strengthen the roadsides with a sand-gravel mixture and apply markings. According to the StavropolMedia news agency, the work will begin with the onset of favorable weather.

As explained in the department, the repair of the facility will improve transport links between the Sovetsky and Stepnovsky districts. Communication with the districts and the district center will also be provided for residents of nearby farms.

The project is being implemented within the framework of the national program "Infrastructure for Life". In total, it is planned to bring more than 88 km on 23 sections of regional roads in the region in 2026.

Earlier it was reported that a ring road is planned to be built around Stavropol. A four-lane highway will be built from Nadezhdinsky Circle to Lenta. The project is already at the completion stage.
