Sergunina spoke about the projects of the participants of the capital's Academy of Innovators

The selection of participants of the eighth stream of the Academy of Innovators program has been completed in Moscow. Almost 3.5 thousand people have registered. The largest number of applications, besides the capital, came from St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and Samara. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"Experts have selected 100 of the most promising projects from the proposed ones. Among them are a programming training platform, an electric motorcycle, smart clothes and equipment for manufacturing enterprises. The most popular areas are educational technologies, creative industries, IT developments and solutions for agricultural complexes," Natalia Sergunina said.

Most of the finalists have already created a finished product or a prototype. As part of the program, participants will continue to work on projects together with personal mentors and prepare solutions for market launch.

Among the selected initiatives is an online service for monitoring temperature and humidity in grocery stores, which collects data from sensors and notifies staff of deviations from the norm. An AI-enabled event planning platform has also been approved.

Among the finalists, there is a service for finding proven household craftsmen based on a geo-algorithm, as well as a scanner for the textile industry that determines the type and chemical composition of the fabric. In addition, the experts selected projects for a folding electric motorcycle, an audio guide platform, a vending machine for sharpening skates and smart clothes with an intelligent heating system.

Applications for the ninth stream of the program are currently open. Registration is available until May 26 on the official website of the Academy of Innovators.

For 2.5 years, the ecosystem of the program has brought together developers from all regions of Russia and 50 countries around the world. During this time, almost seven thousand projects were presented, which attracted more than 1 billion rubles of investments and grants.
