The Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow arrested in absentia the defendant in the case of attempted murder of the first deputy chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseev Zinaida Serebritskaya. Who participated in the assassination attempt
The materials for the arrest of Serebritskaya in absentia were submitted to the court earlier. The Interior Ministry clarified that the woman had left Russia before committing the crime. According to the FSB, on February 5, at 01:10 Moscow time, she took off on a Moscow — Istanbul flight from Vnukovo Airport, and then headed for Ukraine.
The investigation revealed that since December 11, 2025, Serebritskaya had been renting an apartment in the building where General Alekseev lived. According to the FSB, she handed over a Makarov pistol with a silencer and an electronic key to the entrance through a hiding place to the perpetrator of the assassination attempt, after which she left the country.
The third person involved in the case was Pavel Vasin, a Russian citizen, the son of Viktor Vasin, one of the accomplices in the assassination attempt. His arrest was reported on February 10 by the FSB of Russia. According to the agency, Vasin Jr. provided other participants in the crime with vehicles for surveillance, purchased a DVR and a tracker, and helped collect information about the residential addresses and movement routes of employees of the Russian Defense Ministry using Internet applications and search engines.

Viktor Vasin, Pavel Vasin's father, was detained in the Moscow region.
