The Ministry of Defense announced the strengthening of the positions of the Russian Armed Forces after the capture of Zaliznichny

Taking control of the village of Zaliznichnoye in the Zaporizhia region made it possible to strengthen the positions of Russian troops and create a springboard for further actions. This was announced on February 10 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"The liberation of Zaliznichny made it possible to strengthen positions by moving the front line west of Gulyai-Pole and expand the foothold for further active operations," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that during the operation, the enemy lost a large number of manpower, more than 15 armored vehicles and pickups, over 20 heavy hexacopters and four ground-based robotic complexes.

The Russian army liberated Zaliznichnoye in the Zaporizhia region earlier in the day. In addition, in the relevant sector of the front, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated three brigades, four regiments and two battalions of unmanned systems.
