French President Emmanuel Macron has said that Europe will be swept away in five years. He stated this on February 10 in an interview with the German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung.

"If we do nothing, Europe will be swept away in five years," the French leader warned.

In an interview, Macron said that he drew attention to the introduction of trade duties by the United States and Washington's claim to Greenland. Macron said it was impossible to guess how far the Americans could go. He believes that if Europe does not do anything, then in five years it will be "swept away." According to Macron, the situation with Greenland shows that the EU is under threat.
