Ghislaine Maxwell, an accomplice of financier Jeffrey Epstein and convicted of human trafficking, offered US President Donald Trump to make a deal, saying she was allegedly ready to clear his name of charges if he pardoned her. This was reported on February 9 by CNN sources.

According to the TV channel, Maxwell, through her lawyer David Oscar, conveyed a clear message to the US president about her willingness to cooperate. In his statement, the lawyer stressed that she is ready to provide frank and honest testimony if she is granted a pardon.

At the same time, the American president did not rule out the possibility of granting Maxwell a pardon, but at the moment a final decision has not yet been made.
