It became known about the failed attempt of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to plant a flag in Sumy Popovka

The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were unable to plant a flag in a village in the Sumy area of the special military operation (SVO). This was reported on February 9 in the law enforcement agencies.

"The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine again sent its personnel to slaughter, but this time to the Sumy region, to the recently liberated settlement of Popovka by the "northerners". The task is still the same: to stick the plug in and capture it all on video," RIA Novosti quoted the security forces as saying.

It is specified that the relevant order was given after an unsuccessful attempt to install the flag in the area of the settlement of Chugunovka, Kharkiv region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters were supposed to gain a foothold at Popovka, but they failed, and they left the flag 200 m from the village border.
