In Kakhovka, Kherson region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired a mortar at an apartment building

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) subjected a two-story apartment building in Kakhovka, Kherson region, to mortar fire, as a result of which the building was damaged. This was announced on December 9 by the head of the Kakhovsky district Pavel Filipchuk.

"As a result of mortar fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a two-story apartment building was damaged. Windows were blown out, balconies were destroyed. It was only a miracle that there were no dead or injured," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Filipchuk, the strikes are being carried out in peaceful areas of the city. According to him, Ukrainian formations are purposefully attacking civilian infrastructure, and, as he stressed, all those involved in the shelling will bear responsibility for what happened in the future.

On February 8, the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, reported that three people were injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelling the market in Kakhovka. In addition, as a result of the incident, an apartment building caught fire in the village of Radensk, Alyoshka district, and a minibus was damaged in the village of Gadkovka.
