An old restored manor house belonging to philanthropist Ivan Khrushchev was put up for sale in Peterhof for 69.2 million rubles.

According to the newspaper Delovoy Peterburg, two buildings with a total area of about 470 square meters, recognized as objects of cultural heritage, have been put up for auction as part of the bankruptcy of the MISK company.

In 2008-2009, their complete renovation was carried out. The description of the lot notes that the estate is located in the historical center, within walking distance from the main attractions of Peterhof, and is suitable for hotel accommodation, souvenir shops or shops.

"Since the buildings are located in the historical center of Peterhof, their investment attractiveness is extremely high. They are included in the program of the guides. On the other side is Holgin Pond. The Upper Garden, the Great Peterhof Palace, the Peter and Paul Cathedral and other attractions are within walking distance," says the description of the lot on the website of the Russian Auction House.

In mid-April last year, the Moscow Auction House held thematic auctions, the main theme of which was the Romanov House and historical artifacts of the Russian Empire with a total value of 120 million rubles. The core of the collection was the world's second largest collection of watercolors by Princess Olga Alexandrovna, daughter of Alexander III and sister of Nicholas II. The top lots of the second section of the auction were authentic autographs of the grand dukes and emperors of the House of Romanov, the rarest artifacts for the art market.
