A pensioner gave almost 2 million rubles to fraudsters in the Tula region
In Novomoskovsk (Tula region), a 78-year-old man was injured as a result of fraud. He lost 1.96 million rubles.
According to the victim, the scammers said on the phone that the pensioner's accounts were under threat. Under the pretext of saving his savings, the man agreed to transfer money to "safe" accounts. This is reported by TSN24.
In total, eight fraud reports were received by the police over the weekend. The total damage to citizens aged 26 to 82 years will amount to 4.48 million rubles. The police conduct a check on each application.
In Ulan-Ude (Republic of Buryatia), a woman and her friends lost more than 4 million rubles due to fake brokers. The scammers promised a high return on "investments."
