In a private boarding house in New Moscow, employees of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Moscow are investigating the causes of community-acquired pneumonia in more than 10 guests. This was reported on February 9 in the press service of the capital's Investigative Committee.
"The Investigation Department for the Troitsk and Novomoskovsk administrative districts of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city of Moscow has opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code ("Provision of services that do not meet security requirements")," the message on the MAX messenger channel says.
According to the investigation, more than 10 residents of the boarding house were hospitalized with community-acquired pneumonia. Investigators from the Moscow Investigative Committee and Rospotrebnadzor officers have examined the territory, and are also interrogating the management and staff.
On the eve it became known that pensioners who are guests of a private boarding house in New Moscow, massively fell ill with acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI). As the source told Izvestia, the outbreak of infection occurred in the village of Penino, where the pension for the elderly "Dom Penino" is located. Its guests are 12 people. Later, Rospotrebnadzor announced the beginning of work to establish the causes of the disease, as well as work against its further spread.
