Two people were injured in a massive road accident in the Lipetsk region

A massive traffic accident occurred on the Lipetsk – Mud highway in the Lipetsk region. Three cars collided. Two people were injured and were hospitalized.

According to GOROD48, referring to the State Traffic Inspectorate, the accident occurred on the morning of February 7 and caused huge traffic jams. Renault, Ford and Peugeot cars collided. A female Renault driver and a Ford passenger were injured. Rescuers had to remove the woman from the car.

Due to the accident, traffic on the Gryazinskaya highway was obstructed in both directions. Traffic police crews were engaged in regulating traffic flows. The causes of the mass accident are now being established.

Earlier, on February 8, a major accident was reported in the Irkutsk region. As a result of the collision of a car and a truck on the Baikal highway, three people were killed. According to preliminary data, a 26-year-old girl, driving a Toyota Corolla, lost control and entered the oncoming traffic lane, as a result of which she collided with a truck. As a result of the incident, the driver of the car and two child passengers born in 2017 and 2020 died at the scene of the accident.
