It is worth considering selling a Chinese car after the expiration of the warranty period and an increase in regular repair costs. This opinion was shared by automotive expert Alexander Kovalev, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports on February 9.

The specialist also advised putting the Chinese car up for sale when there are signs of corrosion, tremors in the gearbox and increased consumption of engine oil. All these are common signs of "fatigue", as is the case with cars from other countries.

However, as the expert pointed out, modern models from China have moved far ahead in terms of quality, so there are no specific signs that it's time to get rid of the car. However, he warned that Chinese cars are losing less liquidity than European, Japanese or Korean ones, partly due to the rapid updating of the model range and still existing stereotypes among motorists.
