European countries are openly trying to harm cooperation between Russia and the countries of Central Asia and Transcaucasia. This was stated on February 9 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with the Results of the Week program.

"Europe is still trying to dictate its approaches on the Eurasian continent, they are trying to interfere, frankly harm the natural processes of interaction between Russia and the Central Asian countries, between us and our friends in Transcaucasia," Sergey Lavrov said.

The Russian Foreign Minister added that Europe is also trying to impose its approaches in the Black Sea region and the Arctic.

On February 6, Lavrov said that Western countries, after the start of a special military operation, had made subordination of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) to the interests of a hybrid war against the Russian Federation one of their key goals.
