Herring has become the cheapest fish in Russia by the end of 2025

According to the results of last year, herring became the cheapest fish in Russia. This was announced on February 9 at the All-Russian Association of Fisheries Enterprises, Entrepreneurs and Exporters (VARPE).

"Herring is the cheapest fish by the end of 2025. The top of the cheapest types of domestic fish products in the wholesale sector include herring, mackerel and cod," the RIA Novosti organization said.
