Dmitriev commented on Babish's words about Britain's failure to negotiate in 2022.
On February 9, Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of Russia and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), commented on the words of Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babis about the failure of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in 2022 by the former British Prime Minister.
Babish said that peace in Ukraine was achievable in April 2022, until Britain and Boris Johnson intervened to disrupt it: "There was interest in this conflict." The same was confirmed by the chief negotiator of Ukraine at the 2022 negotiations," Dmitriev wrote on the social network X.
In his publication, he attached an excerpt from an interview with the head of the parliamentary faction of the Servant of the People party, David Arahamia, where he stated that Boris Johnson came to Kiev after talks in Istanbul and offered to continue military operations.
