The Times learned about Britain's plans to sell oil from captured tankers
The team of British Defense Minister John Healey is considering the possibility of selling oil from seized tankers to compensate for the costs of confiscation and maintenance of ships. This was reported on February 8 by the British newspaper The Sunday Times.
"One of the solutions that Healy's team is exploring is the sale of oil transported on sanctioned vessels, which will help offset the cost of their confiscation," the publication says.
It is also reported that British unmanned boats may be involved in operations to capture oil tankers.
