Trump called for fixing the electoral system in the United States
US President Donald Trump has called for the country's electoral system to be fixed. He wrote about this on February 8 in his Truth Social network.
"America's elections are rigged, stolen, and becoming a laughing stock around the world. We will either fix them, or we will no longer have a country," the message says.
Trump invited voters to present an identity card, proof of U.S. citizenship, and not to use mail-in ballots except for illness, disability, military service, or absence from the country due to business trips.
On January 21, Trump said that the conflict in Ukraine would not have started if there had been no rigging in favor of the Democratic Party in the 2020 US presidential election. He added that those responsible for the falsifications would soon be "held accountable for what they had done," calling it "sensational news." He recalled the need for "strong borders, strong elections" and again criticized the American media, calling them "very dishonest" and "very biased."
