On February 8, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the sustainability of the Russian economy and the fulfillment of social obligations.

"[The state of the economy] is, first of all, stable. We fulfill all social obligations and will continue to fulfill them. Everything is stable enough," Mishustin said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.

He also noted that the Russian economy has been growing above the global average over the past three years.

According to the Prime Minister, the key task for economic development is to create favorable conditions, primarily through the implementation of national projects.

On the eve of the Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA), in its macroeconomic forecast for 2026-2028, it reported that economic growth in Russia will recover to 1.5% by 2027. It is predicted that annual inflation will gradually decrease to a level close to the target within a year and a half, and the key rate of the Bank of Russia will drop to 9-10%.
