Russian troops have hit facilities of the fuel and energy complex and transport infrastructure used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the Russian Defense Ministry reported on February 8.

"The facilities of the fuel and energy complex and transport infrastructure used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been damaged," the report says.

The strike was carried out by tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery. In addition, the points of temporary deployment of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 145 districts were defeated.

In addition, in the special operation zone (SVO), the air defense forces shot down 27 HIMARS rockets, three Neptune cruise missiles, and 42 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the day.
